This add-on works fantastic if you know how to use it. In fact, I'm using it right now to compose this review. I give the accuracy of the voice typing about a 95% rating if not higher, as long as you speak clearly. Next best thing to Google Voice on your PC, without the intrusive bloatware of activating what's her name in Windows. Highly recommended.
I have been using this software for a short while now and I could not be happier. Sure there are free options (Voice In does have a free option) out there for microsoft word, android, google, and those are good options except they are quite limited in how you can use them and often times they are limited to just the search engine, the software, or the function of the phone in general. Voice In makes it possible to do voice control and speech throughout the browser by offering the ability to write on a notepad via their website, open webpages, speech to text on most websites, voice prompt commands, and so on. This is a great extension to have. Maybe the one con I have is the subscription that would merge Voice In with their offline product Dictonate. Perhaps they can find a way to offer both products in one subscription. The other negative and this is true with all speech to text software is that sometimes the software interprets what you are saying wrong and this can be quite frustrating. The good news is Voice In has a way for you to ensure that doesn't happen with certain words or make it happen less often. Hope you gain value from this review and you found it objective and true.
